ALL THAT & A BAG OF CHIPS

Not only does Stacy’s dominate the CPG game, they also use their profits to boost and empower women entrepreneurs. It started with the Rise Project, a yearly contest to elevate women-led snack start-ups.

THE ASK

Develop a campaign for International Women’s Day that can expand the reach of the Rise Project beyond just CPG start-ups.

THE STRATEGY

The Rise Project and their partners, Hello Alice provided some very telling data about diversity in venture capital funding. According to their study, only 3% of venture capital funding goes to women each year, and that number is so low because female founded businesses are less likely to be considered for meetings

So let’s get more women into those meetings.

SO WE MADE OUR OWN MEETING

We hacked the elevator of a top Venture Capital firm in Chicago to play female-founded business pitches as they take their morning ride up to work.

BUT THAT WAS MARCH, 2020.

We definitely didn’t reach as many VC’s as we wanted, so we gave up our paid media at the start of the pandemic to create a series of short ads and elevator pitches for our female-founded businesses.

THANK YOU
